Vivo Y600i

Vivo Y600i 5G is out to replace the former Y500i, which is only six months old. These phones have the same chip, so there’s no performance upgrade of any kind. That’s usually what happens when generations are six months apart. It’s built around a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC again, with a 2.4 GHz boost clock and a 4nm design. It’s a modern entry-level chip. Vivo Y600i’s top variant fits 6GB RAM (LPDDR4X) and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Vivo puts an HD+ LCD on it. The size is bigger at 6.87”, but it still has a chunky bezel. The chin isn’t uniform, so it sticks out. At least it has a 120Hz refresh rate. Its battery has also grown proportionally to the frame size, from 7200mAh to a proper 8000mAh. They wired it to a 44W charging kit, by the way, which is the same speed as their older Y500i. They didn’t really get a chance to refresh the OS either. It will keep Android 16 out of the box and the Origin OS 6 skin. The phone is drop-safe. SGS did its usual tests and gave the Y600i a shockproof design rating. IP68 + IP69 ratings make it waterproof all around. It’s also safe from hot liquids. The main camera is 50MP with PDAF and no OIS support. 8MP sensor on the front takes selfies. It fits the same price bracket as the Samsung Galaxy A17, but you get far more endurance and durability out of the Vivo Y600i.
