Oppo Reno X

Wide non-folding phones are niche products. Oppo Reno X is about to join that category after the Huawei Pura X View. Some of its preliminary details were already found on the web, and that’s exactly what this spec sheet is based on. Reno X is perfect for long-form horizontal content consumption because of its wide aspect ratio. It would either fit 16:9 or 16:10 dimensions. Either way, it’s far from the normal candy-bar form factor we are used to seeing. And of course, just so the Reno X doesn’t get into the tablet territory, the screen is actually smaller at 6.35”. That’s an AMOLED 1.5K resolution display. And its refresh rate is probably 120Hz. This is a pure flagship, even though it’s sitting in the midrange Reno series. A leak exposed a Dimensity 9000-series chip inside the Reno X. Not exactly sure which SoC model, but we do expect flagship performance. The build would be premium metal. The camera setup is from the Find X class. The main shooter is said to be a 200MP sensor with OIS. It has a 50MP ultrawide. Then we have a 200MP periscope zoom telephoto camera. There hasn’t been any leak on the battery, but we’ll keep updating the spec sheet below as we find more details. Oppo Reno X will directly compete with the Huawei Pura X View. And a compact flagship phone from Samsung like the Galaxy S27 Pro.
