Oppo Reno 16t

Oppo Reno 16t is a compact handset. Its screen is a small 6.32” AMOLED. The specs match the vanilla Reno 16 for the most part. The phone apparently has a Flexible AMOLED, the kind Samsung Galaxy A57 uses to make its bezels slimmer and uniform. 1.5K resolution is being advertised with the Reno 16t. The pixels are pushed at 120Hz. And the peak brightness actually fell short of 1800nits. Of course, the Reno 16t also has that 240Hz touch sampling. There’s an all-new chip here. This newcomer is faster than the vanilla Reno 16. That SoC inside the Reno 16t is called Dimensity 8550 Super (4nm). It has a 3.4GHz CPU and a Mali-G720 MP8 GPU. The best you can get out of the Reno 16t is 16GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. They stuffed a 6700mAh cell inside the Reno 16t, which is average and lasts a full day. But the phone does have the fast 80W SuperVOOC input and an 80W UFC charger. They’ve put four cameras on the device. 200MP main camera on the back has OIS and all the fancy bells and whistles. Then comes the 50MP telephoto zoom lens, which is right next to a 50MP ultrawide unit. Even the selfie camera is a 50MP snapper on the Reno 16t. This handset should’ve gotten the current Android 17, but that’s not it. Oppo shipped it with Android 16 Color OS 16. Two speakers output stereo audio on the Reno 16t. You have a WiFi 6 module here. The built-in fingerprint is a slow optical reader.
