Honor X5ds

Honor X5ds is a new budget phone with a rear mini-display on the camera island. They’ve put a standard 2.01” LCD on the back at 240 x 296px resolution that can be used to check notifications and pick up calls without unlocking the phone. This also works as a second viewfinder for your rear camera. Honor X5ds has a punch hole on the front display. The screen size is a 6.78” IPS LCD. The newcomer has a 120Hz refresh rate, and the main display has HD+ 720p resolution. 600 nits peak brightness should be enough for outdoor usage. They’ve also put a 50MP main camera on the Honor X5ds. It has a 5MP selfie shooter, though most would prefer to take selfies from the back on the rear viewfinder. And this camera is supposed to record 1080p 30 FPS videos. The newcomer has a slow Unisoc T610 chip, but the company did account for the performance loss. It has the lightweight Android 16 Go, not the full version. The RAM is only 4GB. It comes with 64GB storage. The battery is quite average at 6000mAh. This will suffice for a full day of usage. The cell will refuel with a 15W wired charger. Honor X5ds has an IP52 rating, so it’s splashproof. And there’s a fingerprint reader on the side. Samsung Galaxy A07 falls in the same price bracket, but the Honor X5ds has a far bigger battery. And you get a second rear display on this device.
